The question we are asked most: how much space does a villa need? Here is the usual inventory, the unit that fits it, and what to do if you have more.
Sizes are our real units: Small 2.4 × 1.5 × 2.35 m, Medium 3.6 × 1.5 × 2.35 m, Large 3.6 × 2.4 × 2.5 m. Each carries 1,500 kg.

What is usually in a villa
Majlis and living rooms
Men’s and women’s majlis, family room, large dining set, the biggest space users.
Four bedrooms or more
Beds and wardrobes for every room, children’s room, staff room.
Kitchen and yard
Large appliances, yard and garden furniture, grills, bikes.
Boxes and the annexe
Usually 100+ boxes, plus annexe and storeroom contents.

Two Large units, 3.6 × 2.4 × 2.5 m each. The usual arrangement for a mid-size villa with its majlis and dining room.
A small villa
Large + Medium (2,188) if one majlis and three bedrooms.
The fine majlis
Inlaid wood and leather in an air-conditioned unit at 1,999, the rest in dry units.
Packing
How to load the unit properly
Heavy at the bottom, light on top. Wardrobes and beds dismantle and stand on their side to save space. Sofas stand on end. Same-size boxes stack best. Leave a small aisle if you expect to come back for something before the end. And anything damp dries first, the unit is insulated, but what goes in damp comes out damp.
