Sizing
How many units replace the warehouse you are looking at?
A rough floor-area conversion: the Large unit is 3.6 × 2.4 m, so 8.6 m² of floor with 2.5 m of height, rated for 1,500 kg.
- A small 20 m² warehouse ≈ two to three Large units.
- 50 m² ≈ six Large units.
- 100 m² ≈ twelve Large units, at which point commercial rates apply and it is worth a conversation.
The practical difference: units scale up and down with the season and are paid monthly; a warehouse comes whole, on a one-year lease, used or not.

A worked example: seasonal stock for a Jeddah shop
A Jeddah shop needs room for Ramadan and Eid stock, about 15 m²: two Large units for three months. That is 2,578 SAR a month less the 10% term discount, about 2,320 SAR a month before VAT, with the first delivery and collection free. After the season the units go back.
